The existing Edwardian house on Britton Street is Grade II listed and is located within the Clerkenwell Green Conservation Area. My aim was to bring the house back to life and to celebrate its fabulous history. I blended different styles and periods, combining vintage pieces with modern design elements, and included bright joyful colours and playful patterns. Everywhere you look, vibrant hues and unexpected colour combinations bring energy and happiness into the space. I also designed a walled garden on the roof terrace halfway up the building, to provide an unexpected moment of joy for the rear elevation.
